From the start of its 10-year relationship with CICA-TEC, Linc Facility Services has implemented numerous solutions and services that have yielded long-term savings for CICA-TEC’s member airlines. Partnering with CICA-TEC, Linc most recently aided in the design and installation of a new conveyor system CT scanning machine, required as a result of post-9/11 government requirements. Linc continues to provide technical skill and expertise to optimize the life cycle of many of the critical systems that keep CICA-TEC’s member airlines operating securely, safely, and cost-effectively.


Delta Air Lines

Reliably and cost-effectively operate and maintain the critical facility systems in more than 9.5 million-square-feet of terminal space, corporate headquarters, reservation centers, technical operations center, cargo handling, and training facilities for the world’s second largest airline, with a service partner capable of adapting to Delta’s changing business needs.

Solution:
Through a customized and comprehensive facility services program founded on performance metrics, Linc Facility Services streamlined operations and maintenance of critical systems that resulted in reduced overhead costs and improved operational efficiency, while meeting Delta Air Lines’ strict service level requirements. Linc’s proprietary operating procedures have saved Delta approximately $1.2 million in energy costs over three years.


Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport

Solution:
For more than three decades, Linc’s skilled technicians and facility management experts have operated and maintained the complex mechanical systems that keep this 5.5 million-square-foot terminal complex running effectively and efficiently 24/7/365. Continuous improvement efforts have enabled the client to recognize areas of cost reduction and operational efficiency.


Kansas City International Airport
Kansas City, KS

Challenge:
Provide comprehensive operations and maintenance from one service provider on multiple systems, including baggage handling, jet bridges, and aircraft support at this major international aviation hub serving 10 million passengers annually. Consolidate multiple vendors into one single source of accountability to reduce costs and enhance operational efficiency.

Solution:
Linc personnel provide preventive and corrective maintenance to all passenger loading bridges and inbound/outbound baggage systems in all three terminals, combining multiple contracts into a single source of accountability, while reducing overall annual costs.


Orlando International Airport
Orlando, FL

Challenge:
Due to a shift in maintenance responsibility from the tenant airline to airport management, Orlando Airport required access to world-class knowledge and skills to optimally operate and maintain baggage handling systems and jet bridges at a competitive cost—with no interruption to airport operations and passenger satisfaction.

Solution:
A Linc Facility Services staff of 22 technicians and managers rapidly implemented a seamless transition in half the time normally required for similar projects of equal size, including the complete implementation of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) with no interruption to daily airport operations.
