Technology
Leading-edge technology plays an important role in our arsenal of productivity tools. From entering work orders to evaluating maintenance reports, technology allows Linc Facility Services to help clients operate and manage facilities in the most efficient way.
SharePoint Portal
We utilize Microsoft’s Office SharePoint® Portal Server for all business functions, collaborative projects and information management. This virtual “electronic warehouse” gives users access to a wealth of information, including training modules, technical libraries, troubleshooting guides, operating manuals, and other tools to increase the efficiency of your facility operations. The unique portal system also facilitates sharing of valuable information throughout our company. So you’ll benefit from proven processes and efficiencies learned during three decades of operating facilities similar to yours.
Computerized Maintenance Management System
Our experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is extensive, including third-party software packages and interfacing with client-owned CMMS software. Our most frequently used CMMS is MAXIMO®. This system provides work, materials, and asset management as well as reporting capabilities that maximize productivity and service levels, optimize performance, and extend the life of your valuable equipment and building assets.
Our web-enabled version of MAXIMO allows clients to:
- Enter work requests
- Schedule preventive maintenance
- Identify scheduled vs. actual start and completion project times
- Collect labor time for work performed
- Record materials and costs for each work order
- Record contractor time and expenses
- Generate customized reports
Use of this CMMS allows Linc Facility Services to effectively track Key Performance Indicators that measure our efficiency and productivity. Implementing the use of a CMMS saves time and money, while streamlining your facility management operations.
Handheld Technology
We’ve also reduced client paperwork and cut response times by utilizing handheld technologies that enable employees to respond to needs quickly while accessing critical data on-demand. Technicians can receive service assignments, record actions and send records electronically. From a handheld device, technicians have instant access to customer account information and past equipment service history. When the work is complete, a report summary can be instantly e-mailed to your designated representative ensuring that the latest operations information is literally at your fingertips.
